Robotic unloading cell
To relieve the manual unloading of small glass bottles, our customer asked us to automate this process. We integrated a Staubli robot which unloads the bottles line by line and deposits them, synchronized in position and speed, on the infeed conveyor of a screen-printing machine.
The robot also enables large glass bottles on the infeed conveyor of the screen-printing machine to be reoriented by means of a tool change and a vision system. This reorientation work reduces downtime on the screen-printing machine by optimally positioning the bottles.
