After several years of operation, these glass mills had significant wear on the hammers, bearings and interior panels.
Our job was to weld the anti-wear sheet metals on all sides of the mill, recharge with special welding hammers faces, rebuilding new bearings machined from solid from the existing models after having achieved the plans to realign the shafts and transmissions, refurbish geared motors and restart the mill line.
